Adam had a super hero party for his 5th birthday. We started by having the heros draw a mural while we waited for all the heroes arrive. By 11:10 we had three Supergirls, a Superman, a Superdog, a Batman, a Superprincess, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, a Wonderwoman, and someone dresses as a nicely dressed little boy. We kicked off the party with introductions followed by the superhero oath. Next we decorated paper airplanes and tried to fly the close to a target. We played freeze dancing to superhero theme songs, a version of musical chairs, and a game to identify sounds using our superpower hearing. Then Wonderwoman's dad read a Superhero story. After the story we sat down for pizza and cake.
Everyone had a great time and was ready for some serious crime fighting.
Here are some pictures from my phone. I will try to post pictures from my camera later.
Today was Bryan's birthday. In the morning we greeted Bryan with a Pooh balloon. I tried to get him the Elmo balloon the night before, but they were no longer carrying it, or anything else he would have wanted. Bryan did seem to like the balloon so I didn't feel that horrible that I waited till the last possible second to get him a balloon. At dinner we gave him a piece of cake with a candles in it, which he wouldn't touch. I wasn't surprised because he was already upset because the only thing he wanted to eat was lasagne which we didn't have. Since Bryan really likes playing with basketballs, and footballs we decided to give him a basketball hoop for his birthday which he loved.

Here is a video of Adam singing "Move It, Move It" from his current favorite movie Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
